Goodwin says that in music videos there are three types of music video;
1. Performance
A performance music video is a video which is centred around either the band or a singer performing their track. e.g Foo Fighters - All my life
2. Narrative
A narrative music video is a video that has a story associated with the lyrics e.g Nevershoutnever - On the Brightside
3.Concept
An idea which has no relevance to the lyrics or band and can be extremely random e.g Daft Punk - Around the World
A music video can have multiple if not all of these features in it.
